The stories of Dubsdread Golf Course’s past & present are filled with local lore and legend, world famous sports legends and local heroes.
From Carl Dann’s original vision in the early 1920’s, to Tom Bendelow’s original design in 1924, and finally, Mike Dasher’s masterful redesign in 2008, Dubsdread has been the leader in public golf for 100 years!
The City of Orlando is inviting the community to join them as they commemorate and celebrate the 100th anniversary of Dubsdread Golf Course.
The celebrations are taking place at The Tap Room at Dubsdread, 549 West Par Street, Orlando on Thursday, September 12 from 5.30 – 8.30 pm.
For a century, Dubsdread has been a beloved community gem, and the city is throwing a centennial celebration you won’t want to miss.
Join the city as they look back over the decades of Dubsdread’s rich legacy and get a glimpse into the course’s future, with a sneak peek at exciting projects that will ensure Dubsdread continues to be a beloved community course and venue for years to come.
